Dummies guide in mythbusting FB post

Too many fake news in FB lately, too lazy to explain one by one.
The easiest way: educate people about it.


Example:

is it fake?
follow the steps:

1. Does it look fake to you?
if yes, most probably it's fake.
(the fonts were too fake, and formal newspaper wont be using '!!!!!!!')
(obviously the whole thing is a photoshopped image)

2. Read the comments below the post.

Some post would have already been busted. Just scroll and read some of the comments to check on that.

3. Google is your best friend.
Saw the title "Remaja main mercun patah lima jari"?
Google the title with Utusan. (Remaja main mercun patah lima jari utusan)
this is what you get:

Posting without any news source, the only link to this stupid rumours is that Japan government is offering scholarship for anyone who is interested, and ofcourse, ONLY THE EXCEL ONES WILL BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY，just like msian goment giving JPA scholarship.

This would of course,a big fat lie when DS Ahmad Said received consent from the Sultan for his second term as Menteri Besar Terengganu yesterday.

This fraud would be very serious, as it involves the Sultan. The one who started the rumours may be charged.

If a fake news like above can have 4500+ of shares in 13 hours, I wonder how many share this post can have.
I am guessing much lower, as Msian loves to share rumours without verifying them, instead of helping to bust them.
